We make it easy to Sell Your Classic Car
If you’re looking to sell a classic car in Chicago, you’ve found the right place. Instead of leaving that dusty automobile in the garage to rust away, why don’t you let Chicago Car Club buy it? Your great grandpa would have loved to see his car still running. And we’d be glad to take care of it and make sure that it does.
How It Works
Let us know what you have. If you’re not quite sure, that’s fine! Just send an inquiry and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
Share the story of your car! Tell us everything you know about the vehicle, good and bad. We can help you to collect additional information about the vehicle that will ensure it will fetch the highest possible price.
Once we collect all the information we can get, let us do what we do best and value your car. We are constantly in-tune with the ever-changing trends of the classic and collectible car market. Once we value your vehicle we will also make an offer to purchase. Take it or leave it. The valuation is free!
Chicago Car Club is not your average car buyer. Our passionate, qualified, and experienced staff is well aware of the sentimental value many classic and collector vehicles hold and we approach each and every transaction with that in the front of our minds.
All of us here at CCC have experienced first-hand the mixed emotions that come along with releasing our own near-and-dear vehicles into the wild. We know what it’s like to be on the other end of the deal and want to make it absolutely clear to all of our clients that we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to purchase your classic and will do everything in our power to ensure that the process is a smooth and enjoyable one, from initial inquiry to the moment the transporter arrives at your door. Look no further – we are the Chicago classic car dealer you need.
An Eye for a Classic: The Types of Cars We Buy
We buy cars from bygone days, but not just any car. We prefer the ones that held the spotlight in their time – the classics. Whether your vehicle is European, American, or from some other foreign land, we’ll take a look at it. Just give us a call. As collector car buyers, we easily spot a classic when we see one.
What Makes a Collector Car?
If we’re going to stick to the traditional definition of a classic car, then “collector cars” are those vintage automobiles you see chugging down the road ever so rarely – that is, if they get to make it out of the museum. The classics, produced any time between 1915 and 1948, are often unmodified, exuding their fine distinction of the yesteryears.
However, there’s no real need to be date-specific. Many vehicles from the 80’s and early 90’s are considered collectibles today. As classic car buyers, we can tell if you have an oldie in your hands.
If you think you have a classic car, or know someone interested in selling their car, don’t hesitate to call us. We will appraise your car for free or pay you through our referral program.

Video killed the radio star? How about the dealership star? Much like the world of retail, the automotive resale industry is in the midst of a tremendous shift. More and more sales each year are conducted online, sight-unseen, in large part due to the cascading of tech into a long-since […]Read More »
There’s no other way to put it, we’re total suckers for cars with interesting backstories. We hear a lot of them; “How’d you manage to own the car for 40 years and only put 1,000 miles on it?”, “Well, I drove it home from the dealer, used it for a […]Read More »

Meet the star of our beloved Tiny Car Corner, this beauuuutiful green on green Isetta. While it looks damn near perfect now, this ’56 Bubble-Window Isetta wasn’t always in the limelight [lime…green…pun…ha-ha]. We purchased the “car” from a gentleman in Iowa who runs a vintage moped restoration business; he had […]Read More »
Over the last few years I’ve met a number of folks who, while maybe not phenomenally wealthy, have a habit of buying cars, classics specifically, with no intention of driving or road registering them. These are people who purchase cars solely because they want to experience ownership, not necessarily the […]Read More »
Being the defacto “car guy” within my little network of friends and acquaintances, I’m routinely asked all sorts of “What car should I buy?”-type questions. The resulting overarching conclusion is this: most car-shoppers these days want a car that can do anything and everything, and do it all well. Today’s […]Read More »
“Slow car fast”. We’ve all heard it before. And it’s an ethos that, as a classic-car guy, I’m totally on board with. Essentially the thinking is that if a car is slow, or relatively so, its performance limit is within immediate-enough reach that it can be toyed with within the […]Read More »
I’ll admit, until I’d driven one, I struggled to grasp just how or why the Mercedes 500e, a relatively pedestrian-looking 90s sedan, could still command sale prices upwards of $50k 25 years after its inception. However, after a few miles behind the wheel, it all starts to make sense; the […]Read More »
